Choose Windows PowerShell (Admin)

Did you know that there is a super easy way to find out your laptop battery’s health?

The best thing about the report is that anyone can read it and understand it. I’ll show you how in 3 easy steps!

First open windows PowerShell by pressing the “windows” key and x (at the same time) and choose Windows PowerShell(Admin).

Once Powershell opens, type in:

cd..(enter)

cd..(enter)

powercfg /batteryreport(enter)

 

 

 

These commands make the battery report save to your “C” drive.

To view the report open your web browser(I use Google Chrome) and type in:
file:///C:/battery-report.html

Type in: file:///C:/battery-report.html
